Snoopy is Charlie Brown's beagle. He lives in a red wooden doghouse, and his favourite playmate is a bird named Woodstock.  

He first appeared in Charles Schulz's cartoon comic strips in 1950 and immediately became the world's most famous beagle. At the beginning, Snoopy was just an average pet dog but slowly he acted more like a human than a dog.

Snoopy loves being lazy. He enjoys pizzas and chocolate chip cookies. He can read at the rate of one word a day. He always performs a "happy dance" while his friend is playing the piano.
