2 camps

I just return from TWO camps! So crazy!
Here is the pineapple rice made in the Tung Tsz Camp. The taste is... quite raw and sour...

I like the tomato fish and the cheese ham rice invented by Hiu-tung!

For the second "camp" - Bible Study Camp, we finally moved our place from Sha Tin Ling Kei Camp to SENSE - a second-floor-cafe near Langham Place. I ordered a "黑馬情人" - 阿華田沙冰. The taste was quite good. Next time I want to try a 白馬情人!

The environment was so quiet that we "read" the whole book of 約翰福音 in 2.5 hours! Recommend for growth group or cell gathering.

20050727 BLC

I had a dinner with the members of "Beautiful Ladies' Club" - Joyce, Ah Pik, Ka Yee, Kar Yan and Grandma Waiman (hehehe... actually they are all my secondary school classmates...) - tonight in Langham Place. We had our first round in a Japanese restaurant and then we changed our gathering place to a Shanghainese cuisine at around 9 pm (Hahaha... 2 rounds the same night... we'd better change our name into "Fat and Crazy Ladies' Club"). At first we thought that the Shanghai food was okay. Then we started to "blow water"... We talked and talked and talked and shared a lot for a long time until 11 pm. Then a waitress came and said, "There is a 100-dollar minimum charge policy. You have six persons and you should spend $600. However, you have ordered $385 only."

11 pm and we were all full and we had to think how to order more food for the extra $215!!

The most important point was: the cuisine never told us this policy when we reserved the table, when we settled down the table, when we ordered food, and when we finished our food at around 9:45... The cuisine even did not put up a sign outside and inside the restaurant to remind its customers...

We asked another "handsome" (?) waiter to confirm this policy. His face showed a sign that "many customers asked this question before" and finally when he came back, he said, "The manager waived this policy especially for you." But with a sign in his face that "actually the manager will waive this policy ONLY IF you ask!"

I will put this restaurant into my black list!!!

Tea

I had tea with her this afternoon... It is a nice thing to talk to her since she always inspires me to be a good teacher. And actually, she is a good model of a good maths teacher.

To CK Sir: She is my Secondary 5 class teacher + maths teacher + Amaths teacher + a really very good teacher that I love! 學下人啦! Hahaha.

To my student Carol : I typed this entry after bringing you to the Tai Po Bank of China on Saturday... It was because I "discovered" a photo of you + Miss Kwan inside your purse on that day. I knew that Miss Kwan is your most favourite teacher long time ago, still I was very surprised to see that photo because I can't imagine that nowadays we will have such a "長情" student and you made me recall the good memory between me and my teacher *_^

Social Psychology Exam

Explosion in London again. How is Miss Wan? And how is Cindy Yung? I miss them. I will pray for them.

Tried...
Just return home. The social psychology exam tonight is sooooooo difficult. I brainstormed very long and can hardly write out the correct answers. I have confidence to get 28 out of 40 only... The lecturer says we have to get 75% correct in order to get a "B"... oh I don't want a "C". I want to apply Master in Psychology, and definitely only students with all straight A will be admitted...
But anyway, the exam is a past tense. I have to work hard on the next subject - ethical issues in psychology!
