我有時在想，我是否一個Snoopy Fans?

我因為之前已經買得太多，家中沒有位置再放collectibles了，近幾年已經不敢再買，所以我絕對不是一位collector. 也因此，有人曾經質疑我能否再擔當Snoopy Fan Club Admin?

然而，我另一方面，為了Snoopy publish 人生第一個iOS / Android app, 為了Snoopy 成日飛去世界各地的Snoopy Town and Park, 為了Snoopy 整花生字體，為了Snoopy申請加入日本Peanuts Friends Club。

其實，我愛Snoopy 嗎?

十幾年前有海外Snoopy Fan將舒爾茲老師的花生字體變成true type fonts, 方便大家在Word 或Photoshop等軟件上整花生字。不過，他當時只整了大細楷英文字母，沒有整數字。

我經過幾個星期工餘時間的努力(因為我渣嘛)，update了這個字體file, 現在數字也是花生字體了！

很多人知道我喜歡Snoopy, 甚至在幾年成立了舒爾茲香港粉絲會。然而，我是一位基督徒，基督徒不可以有idol吧? (雖然，舒爾茲是基督徒，花生漫畫有很多基督教信仰的成分，2017年也有牧者寫過一篇叫「史努比的信仰」。)

我愛主。那麼，我應該是「耶穌粉絲會」的一分子吧。等等，基督徒不可以有idol吧?

這兩個問題一直在我心中纏繞了一陣子，直到上星期，有牧者跟我說：只要你愛那個「偶像」的心沒有超越愛主的心，那麼偶像只是一個稱號，是我喜歡的事物、楷模、學習對象、感情寄託、個人理想，跟隨其足跡走下去。並非我所崇拜的。

其實除了Snoopy外，我還有很多「偶像」的。
我小時候喜歡作家杏林子, 中學時喜歡帶過我出去HKMO的兩位數學Miss, 大學時喜歡演員陳慧珊，出來工作後喜歡日本的Amami Yuki。他們是我成長的一部分。

2014年年初，上海舉行了Peanuts 65週年展覽，我專程由香港飛去看開幕禮。
那時我還未成立香港區粉絲會，當然更加不認識什麼香港區花生漫畫代理，只是穿著到全身也是史諾比，胆粗粗在場外，乖乖地跟其他國內人排隊和人扮史諾比公仔拍照。
快輪到我時，我用超級不純正的普通話跟場内工作人員說可否幫我拿相機拍照。
他身旁站着的女士，也是全身史諾比。聽到我的口音，便跟工作人員説: 這位粉絲是香港專程來的，其他人拍一個造型，她可以多拍一個。
我便是這樣跟莫太結緣了。

I will try to answer why Spike is regarded as the elder brother of Snoopy, while Marbles / Olaf / Andy / Belle are regarded as the younger brothers and younger sister of Snoopy.

Actually, Mr. Charles M. Schulz did not say who is elder and who is younger.

However, some people believe that Spike is older because of the following reasons.

(1) First appears in the comics strips:

Spike 1975 Belle 1976 Marbles 1982 Olaf 1989 Andy 1994

(Molly and Rover never appear in the comics strip.)

(2) When Snoopy is getting married in 1985, he only invited Spike.

We always think that one must invite his seniors to his wedding.
(3) By counting the number of strips, Spike appears the most frequently in the comics strips among the Daisy Hill Puppies (of course besides Snoopy!) He appears on 481 days.

其實舒爾茲老師一直沒有表示誰是哥哥、姊姊、弟弟、妹妹。

Spike被認為是大哥主要原因：

J他最早出現在漫畫

J1985年Snoopy打算結婚，只通知Spike來做証婚人，咁一般認為，做証婚人一定是長輩。

所以，Marbles Olaf Andy Belle被認為只是弟妹。

J另外以數量計，Spike是除了Snoopy以外，最多出現在daily Comics strips, 合共出現了481日。

劉sir是我中五Physics teacher, 只教了我一年，後來我中六做Science Club副主席，他是我們的顧問，教咗我們好多攪活動的技巧。

(1) "Does Snoopy have any siblings? If so, what are their names?"

Your answer is "Snoopy’s siblings from the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm are: Spike, Belle, Marbles, Olaf, Andy."

But you did not mention Rover and Molly.

They appeared in 1991 Video "Snoopy's Reunion".

Is it because in this instance, the creative decisions regarding their appearance were decided by the show’s animators, not Mr. Schulz?  

However, in a comics strip by Mr. Schulz on 1989-06-18, there are eight puppies signed on a Father's Day Card to Snoopy's Dad. This shows that Snoopy has seven siblings.

(2) "Does Charlie Brown have a girlfriend?"

Your answer is "Actually between 1990 and 1991, he did. He met Peggy Jean at summer camp. He was so enamored (and extremely nervous), that he introduced himself as Brownie Charles, the name by which she would know him until she moved away. Throughout their relationship, he was continually torn between Peggy Jean and his affection for the Little Red-Haired Girl."

- We never see Linus walk passed this open hole. (?!)

- There are 9 planks here, but now there are just 7.

- There were apples and leaves before Lucy and Linus go to the pumpkin patch, but they disappears when they return. (?!)

- Suddenly Lucy is holding a piece of paper. (?!)

- The mail box initially has no writing on it, then suddenly it has the words "U.S. Mail" writing on it.

- 10 holes in Charlie Brown's costume, then suddenly only two holes.

- Two more children suddenly appear when Pig Pen arrives. (?!)

- Lucy claims to have only gotten five pieces of candy after receiving more than 10 candies from the first house. (?!)

- Violet suddenly has a pen at her right hand. (?!)

- There are 5 apples in the tank, but suddenly there are only 4. (?!)

Schulz Exhibition

(個人意見，我up吓咋，長文慎入)

去完倫敦的Peanuts Exhibition之後有個感概。

我去過美國加州、日本東京及英國倫敦的Peanuts exhibitions, 

它們因為有Schulz Research Centre的加持，

所以都是非常有深度的介紹Schulz創作背景。

當然它們也有商業成份，

例如打卡及消費原素，

但是那些入場人士都是非常專注於睇漫畫的理念。

反觀香港、澳門、台灣、中國國內、馬來西亞、泰國、新加坡、印尼、韓國的，

就只流於拍照、飲食及購物。

可能GBG怕如果攪咁嚴肅的的展覽，

亞洲區粉絲會怕悶，

嚇走他們。

(GBG是亞洲區，除了日本外的花生漫畫代理。)

但是我在想，

中國國內都有像「花生村花生事」(https://www.weibo.com/peanutspost)的有質素的粉絲討論，

絕對不輸給美國的Derrick Bang and Scott McGuire。(http://fivecentsplease.org)

香港區也有陸離女士及小思老師做代表，

我們「舒爾茲香港粉絲會」間中都有非購物的認真討論啊。

這些都是可以慢慢培養的。

(當然，粉絲組織都可以幫一把的。)

我開始幻想，

何時香港才可以攪一個有Schulz Research Centre 加持的Peanuts exhibition, 

把花生漫畫的精神傳播開去，

而不是被外人誤認為我們只懂shopping (雖然這也是非常重要！)

我記得自己未成立香港區粉絲會前，

已經成曰寫信給香港區代理想他們舉行香港區Snoopy Run, 

現在終於有點眉目會舉行了(雖然未知日期！)

我當然不會說是自己「爭取成功」的功勞(又不是選議員！)

但是我希望有機會都可以向GBG反映這個訴求呢。
